My left engine mount was changed and it's quiet now. Thanks Maximus. The engine mount was completely soft. I had noises in left and right turns. And some noise when driving uphill. Sometimes it was a rattle and several times a click noise. I've now driven 3000 kilometers and now I'm getting a noise again. Now it's stepping on the gas or tapping the gas pedal. But it is much quieter than before. You have to pay attention and have the radio off.
I've also been thinking about whether the right engine mount is also soft and allows too much movement. I looked for PU sockets for the left and right engine mount but found nothing. A well-known manufacturer is powerflex, for example.
Does anyone know of another manufacturer?
I've also thought about spraying the engine mounts with heat-resistant silicone. Some of these special silicones have a shore hardness of 22. But i don't know how vibrations are passed on to the interior.
Does anyone have any experience?
